PolyWorks created a low durometer gel pad designed to provide pressure relief and passive shape conformation in response to the demands of medical industry suppliers. The gel positioning pads needed to protect the patient, perform consistently and be manufactured to the strictest of standards.

This visco-elastic gel conforms to unique shapes and sizes by fluidly surrounding and providing the necessary support to safely hold a person in place without putting excessive pressure on capillaries, which allows for consistent blood flow. In medical use, these gel pads are proven to comfortably support a patient for 10 hours or more at a time. And PolyWorks gel pads are anti-microbial, incorporating a patented ionic silver based technology to prevent the growth of bacteria on the surface of the pads.
