It's not often that air becomes a raw material. At PolyWorks, air is considered an advanced technology. PolyWorks has taken bladder technology steps further. We combine our unique bladder design with all of our other comfort technologies to create something really new - lightweight, adjustable cushioning.

The bladder technology is a dialectrically sealed compartment with a pump to pressurize and a release valve to depressurize. For us this is a simple technology with unlimited applications. Now, take the bladder device and combine it with our valve and gel cushioning technologies and you have a superior dial-in cushioning system.

For example, you need a new pressure relief comfort system for a wheel chair. Comfortable enough for long periods, light enough to be user friendly and accommodating for people of different shapes and sizes. Take the shape-shifting viscoelastic properties of the gel combined with the lightweight adjustability of the air bladder and you’re done.
